AGU Season 2-5 Character Changes

Welcome to the AGU Season Two Character Changes Page. You may be wondering what this page is all about. Well, when season two episodes began airing on Nickelodeon USA, there were many changes made to the overall characters and their looks. A lot of AGU fans were clamoring for some different wardrobes for the characters but weren't expecting complete make-overs for some. This page will detail some of those changes as we go behind the differences from season one to season two. Enjoy!
Tommy Pickles

There have been some dramatic changes to Tommy's look from season one to season two. There were a few AGU fans who wanted to see Tommy with a different wardrobe than the outfit he wore for a majority of season one episodes. The plain white t-shirt with orange sleeves and blue jeans look was getting too old. Well, when season two rolled out, not only did Tommy get some more clothes, but his look changed slightly, too. His hair is no longer a dark purple, but much lighter and his face is more rounder. Also, he let his bangs hang down over his forehead more. It also looks as if he is more built than he was in season one - maybe he included weight lifting as an activity. In general, Tommy is looking a lot more stylish with his new assortment of clothing. Not only does he wear jeans, but khaki's and a variety of other dress shirts and vests. It's not uncommon to see Tommy wearing a different set of clothes after each scene! Maybe he likes clothes now? Many people say that season two episodes look more realistic and I tend to agree with that assessment. In Tommy's case, he is definitely fashionable.
Lil DeVille

Lil's new look is probably much more dramatic than Tommy's overall. Lil has a complete new wardrobe and is definitely looking a lot more stylish in season two. Most significantly, her hair has changed, as it has a bit of a curl in it, but it is generally the same length as her hair in season one. She also has one strand of her hair highlighted in the front, generally being a purple streak, although I have seen in blue and green, too. She wears a larger variety of clothing now, ranging from sweaters and blouses to skirts and kahki pants. Lil did have two different wardrobes in season one, but we see the one on the right more than the other style. However in season two, she has a larger variety of clothing, so you never see the same set of clothes for too long in an episode. Overall, I am very pleased with Lil's new look. At first, I wasn't too keen on it, but I have grown to like it as I have watched the season two episodes. It really looks good on Lil, and it was a great change for her.
Phil DeVille

Phil's new look is just as dramatic as Lil's - new hairdo and all! Phil still looks like his twin, although he tries to separate his style from Lil. For one, his hair has that similar curl that Lil has, but it's a lot shorter, in fact, he has a buzz cut around the bottom portion of his head. His hair is parted evenly right through the middle of his head and his hair is a bit long. It's definitely an interesting style, one that originates back to the mid and late 1990's (looks like he is trying to bring the style back). Phil has a variety of different clothing too (and doesn't wear the same outfit episode after episode like he did in season one). He likes to wear a lot of vests, sweatshirts, and coats over his t-shirts, and he'll wear his pants baggy. He'll even have the worn-out jeans with the hole in the knee (like in the picture at left). Phil's new style was quite dramatic from season one. Phil always seemed messy and not to care much about his look. However in season two, that has changed - as he definitely cares more about his appearance. He wants to make an impression, and I definitely believe he has made a positive impression on the viewers with his new look.
Kimi Finster

Kimi probably had the most dramatic changes from season one to season two. The one thing that sticks out about Kimi is her new hair style. In her season two look, she has it up in pig tails and she has more uniform bangs in the front. Her hair is a lot more lighter, too, almost similar to to Tommy's season one hair color. Her wardrobe received a massive overhaul, although her season one outfits were pretty stylish as it was. They are even more stylish in season two, making her look even more grown up. She still has that wild side about her which reflects in her choice of clothing, although she has also discovered her Japanese roots, which she tries to embrace much more than ever. At first, I didn't really think that Kimi needed a new look, because I thought her season one look was just fine - just give her some new outfits from time to time. But after watching the first five new episodes from season two, I must admit that it is a nice change for Kimi, one that I really enjoy.
Other Characters

As for the other main characters, they did not receive as dramatic of make-overs. Angelica's hair is slightly different; it seems to be longer and she dresses a lot more mature - definitely reflects her first year as a teenager. Chuckie still looks the same, although his hair might be slightly lighter and he also has new clothes - other than that, it's the same old Chuckie. Dil also hasn't changed, although he too has some new outfits (anyone notice his voice to be awkward in the first few season one episodes - maybe it's just me). And lastly, Susie also has some new clothes, but she still looks like the Susie of old in season one. And there you have it - a detailed account of all of the characters changes!
