Luke's AGU Fansite's 10th Anniversary Celebration

2013 is an important year when it comes to the All Grown Up TV series. Ten years ago, it launched on the Nickelodeon cable network as a spin-off to the popular Rugrats show. To help celebrate this important milestone in the show's life, we here at Luke's AGU Fansite will be holding a special reunion celebration, honoring the show's legacy. Luke's All Grown Up Fansite and associated message board also launched in 2003, but later in the year. The website, and especially the message board, gained tremendous popularity, unlike what I had expected. It was an enjoyable experience getting to meet and talk with people from around the world who loved the original Rugrats and who were tuning into the spin-off series.

Luke's AGU Fansite's 10th Anniversary Celebration will take place during June 28-29, 2013 (Friday-Saturday). Here is the official schedule of events (all times are for the eastern time zone):

Friday, June 28:
7 PM - one hour opening ceremony chat (an opportunity to catch up, re-introduce each other, and talk about the old days)
8 PM - Luke's AGU Fansite's Mini-Awards Ceremony and Reveal (see below)
10 PM - All Grown Up Trivia & Games
10:45 PM - AGU Episode Viewing (this will go on until approximately midnight)
12 AM - end of the day

Saturday, June 29:
7 PM - one hour general chat
8 PM - The Great AGU Debate Session (we'll talk about the good, the bad, and the ugly regarding the show and other hot topic issues - however, we won't try to stay too negative because this is supposed to be a positive time, reminiscing).
10 PM - Fan Art/Fan Fiction reveal (if none are submitted, we'll just go right into the next segment)
11 PM - AGU Episode Viewing
12 AM - 10th Anniversary weekend is officially over

HERE is the link to the chat room where most of the events will be held.  You are able to change the assigned username given to you by clicking on the green icon next to the given username.  Join us starting at 7 PM each night in the chat room.

As part of the 10th anniversary celebration, those of you who draw fan art and write fan fiction, I am looking for stories and art involving the 10th anniversary in some way.  They do not have to mention Luke's AGU website/message board in anyway, but recognize the fact that AGU has been on the air for 10 years.  If you plan to write a story, please keep it relatively short.  As for fan art, the door is wide open as to what you can create!  Please e-mail them to me by clicking on the "e-mail" button to your right.

Also as part of the celebration weekend, I will be hosting a mini-awards, much like what we did in the past on a few occasions, but in a much smaller scale (lesser awards). There will be ten awards in all to vote in. The polling page has been created, so when you get a chance, please vote!  VOTING IS NOW OVER

So please join us for the events at the end of this week!  It surely looks to be a good time.  And if you have any additional suggestions or comments regarding the events and the weekend, let me know.  Maybe we can fit it into the schedule.  Thank you!
